BOO

I definitely took one for the team this Halloween.  Between a friends peer pressure, and the boys really wanting me to dress up, I did!  What a lame-o I look like, and no one told me that night.  Awesome.  But we had tons of fun.  The boys are really into Star Wars, so they knew what they wanted to be months before the big night.  Conner sprinted from house to house with his pals, and Logan and I tried our best to keep up with big bro.  They are already talking about what they want to be for next Halloween.  Nothing like planning early.......

T-Ball Time!

Our little slugger.  1st year of t-ball.  Loved it.  Favorite position- 1st base.  Go River Cats.

Logan turns 4!

Yahooo, I'm only just over 2 months late on this one!  Our little Logie-bear turned 4 in March.  Hard to believe my baby is not a baby anymore......sigh.  This kid is a crack up.  He is currently obsessed with video games (never buying them), computer games, and tv.  He asks about a average of 50 times per day if he can watch "the hub".  It's a station that is full of Transformer, and Batman type shows.  So not appropriate for a barely 4 year old.  He is our superhero junkie.  Loves "bad guys", Star Wars, and any cartoon that he shouldn't be watching.

He also does love school, and playing with/rough-housing with Conner.  He doesn't listen at all, but makes up for it by telling us that he loves us all the time.  He is a smart cookie, and knows how to win us over!

Here are a few of Logan's favorites:

Favorite Breakfast: Pancakes

Favorite color: blue and red
Favorite song: Pumped up Kids
Favorite Toy: Light Sabers
Favorite TV Show: Mike the Knight
Favorite Movie: Star Wars
Favorite Book: Star Wars
Favorite Animal: Tiger
Favorite dinner: Chicken Apple Sausage
Favorite Dessert: Ice Cream
Favorite Place to go: LegoLand (but he's never been there), or Disneyland
Favorite Car to ride in: Daddy's
What do you like best about your brother? Playing with Light Sabers
Favorite thing to do at school- Going out to recess
Who are your good friends - John, James, Ben, Travis, Daniel, Jake, Milo....etc.

Happy 4th Birthday Logie!!

Conner turns 6!

Yeah, he turned 6 on January 3rd, so what if I'm a few months late on this birthday update.  I'm so lame!  I'm going to try to post more often, because so much fun and exciting stuff is happening with these two crazy boys.  I really need to keep writing, because I know I know my short term memory, and I'll forget everything.

Anywhooooo, I always like to do a list of their "favorites" on their birthdays.  It's fun to see what changes and what stays the same.  Here is what our awesome little firstborn had to say:

Favorite Breakfast: Pancakes

Favorite color: Green and orange
Favorite song: all Justin Beiber songs
Favorite Toy: Nerf Gun
Favorite TV Show: Bubble Guppies
Favorite Movie: Star Wars
Favorite Book: Star Wars
Favorite Animal: Zebra
Favorite dinner: Tacos
Favorite Dessert: Chocolate Bar
Favorite Place to go: Disneyland
Favorite Car to ride in: Mommy's
What do you like best about your brother? Playing light sabers with him
Favorite thing to do at school: Play basketball at recess
Who are your good friends: Caleb, Tali, Luke, Kellen

It's hard to believe he only has 1 month left of Kindergarten.......where did the time go!?  He is currently finishing up t-ball, which he LOVES, and his first year of swim team is kicking into high gear.  The littel man jumped in the water with a top notch dog paddle, and with only a few weeks in, he is already starting to swim freestyle.

He is so much fun, so full of ENERGY, and such a smart little guy.   Happy Birthday (okay, almost half-birthday) to my little buddy!!

All About Logan

I can't believe Logan is turning 4 in a couple weeks. I really want to freeze time right now, he is at such a great and fun age. He really keeps us cracking up all the time. I'm soooo not ready for him to turn 4 years old...it just sounds so old for my baby to turn 4! Can you tell, I'm having baby/todder fever?! I know......I'm insane, as Dennis keeps reminding me.

Every time he says something hilarious, I have the best intentions to write it in his baby book, but of course, it just doesn't happen. So here is my chance to jot down a few of his classics lately.

1 - We were at Costco a few weeks ago, and Logan saw an older man behind us with the same Giants shirt on as him, Conner and Dennis have. In an exetremely calm and cool voice he says "Hey, cool shirt Man". I think the guy did a double take, not sure of if what he heard was accurate. I just burst out laughing, it was pure comedy!

2 - We were at the gym the other day, and there was a sticker of the Alarm Company on the front door. Logan pointed at the sticker and goes, "Mommy, this sticker means No Robbers Allowed, right?". Awesome.

3 - He calls Tootsie Pops, Tootie Pops. It's too cute to tell him what they are really called.

4 - He is really into Star Wars right now. He calls the Storm Troopers, the Storm Trippers. Again, I won't correct him, because it just kills me every time he says it.

5 - Numerous times per day, "Conner that toy is mines".

It's amazing how different he & Conner are. Conner can sit and read, or play with toys for hours. Conner still plays with trains, and he just turned 6. Logan on the other hand, not so into entertaining himself with toys for hours on end. He is really into guns, which is so random, since we are clearly not big NRA promoters! He is super into video games, which is also odd, since all we have is one Leapster, and a few Sprout online games that he plays. And lately he loves playing Star Wars, but he only likes being the bad guys. What?!

Speaking of bad guys, he told me that he wants Star Wars cookies for his birthday, but ONLY to make the bad guys, not the good guys. Ummm, okay.

We went hunting for bugs yesterday, and he told me "Mom, I don't want to catch any ladybugs or butterflys, I only want to catch bad bugs like Black Widows". Really????? Is this a foresight of some questionable future behavior we should be a little concerned about!?

He is just SO much fun, that I can't seem to get enough of him these days. I'm enjoying these last few weeks with my 3 year old, and can't wait to see the adventures this little 4 year old will continue to bring us!!

The boys with thier buddies Luke & Levi!
